AVIF
AVIF is a modern image format, based on the AV1 video codec, that often makes photos even smaller than WebP at the same visual quality.
How Xodia converts images to AVIF: one click in the Assets panel, right in your browser, with WebP beside it so you can keep whichever file is smaller.

What it is
AVIF keeps detail well at high compression and supports transparency and wide colour. Current browsers show it, and sites often serve AVIF first with WebP or JPEG as a fallback.
Encoding AVIF is slower than WebP, so it suits images that are made once and viewed many times, like hero photos. A picture element with an AVIF source and a WebP or JPEG fallback lets each browser pick the best format it understands.
In Xodia
The Assets panel converts an image to AVIF or WebP in one click, in your browser, so you can compare the results and keep the smaller one. SVG files can be compressed there too.
Your AI then updates the image's references and sizes in your code, and the change stays in Xodia for you to review and push.
