A git-based visual editor: every change is a commit you control
Xodia keeps your site in your own git repo. Edits by you and your AI wait as a draft until you save; Save commits them to this branch, another branch or a new one, and each save is a restore point. Publishing merges into your live branch, and your host deploys it as it does today.
Free plan. 14-day Pro trial. No charge unless you choose a plan.
The Save changes dialog in Xodia: the message Make the hero heading bold, saved as one change to a new branch named preview.
Drafts
Every planNothing changes until you save
Every edit shows as unsaved in the top bar, with the code change in the Code tab. Save it with a message, or Discard to go back to the last save.
- Unsaved work is autosaved to a private copy, never to your branch, so a sleeping preview loses nothing
- Your edits and your AI's land in the same draft, so you review them together
- On the live branch, Save suggests a new branch first and warns that saving there publishes
The Style panel: a pointer sets the heading's weight to 700 Bold, the heading on the canvas turns bold, the change shows as 1 unsaved and the class font-bold appears in the Code tab.
Restore points
Go back to any version
Each save is a restore point. Restore one and the preview shows that version; your current work is saved on top first, so you can always switch back.
- Every version with its message, when it was saved and its commit
- Your AI can list and restore checkpoints too, when you ask it to
Settings, Restore points: three saved versions of the main branch, newest first, the current one marked and the others each with Restore.
Branches and pull requests
Starter and upReview on a branch, then make it live
Work on a branch of your repo, open a pull request for review on GitHub, and merge it into the live branch from Xodia when it is ready.
- New branch, open pull request, merge and delete from the branch menu
- Free works on the main branch; branches come with Starter, Pro and Agency
- Team roles decide who may publish to live
The branch menu in Xodia on the branch spring-hours: the branches on GitHub with main as the live site, then New branch, Open pull request into main, Merge into main (make live) and Delete branch.
Publish
Starter and upPublish through the host you already use
Publish merges your work into the live branch, and Vercel, Netlify and Cloudflare build and deploy it as they do today. Xodia shows you how that went.
- The live address, domains, deploy status and build logs next to the editor
- Send a failed build's log to your AI to fix
- Copy your host's environment variables into the preview; they go only to the dev server, never to your AI
Settings, Publishing: the live site on Vercel with its address, and a failed build on the branch spring-hours with its error and Fix with your agent.
Local folder mode
Every planOr edit the folder on your computer
Already have the site cloned? Run one command in its folder and Xodia edits it there: the preview runs on your computer and you commit with your own git.
- The preview starts in seconds and uses no preview hours
- Your editor and Xodia side by side on the same files
Settings, Code and Git: the project's GitHub repository and branch, and Open on this computer, using a folder on the computer with its own git.
Questions
Git and publishing questions
Does Xodia commit to my main branch on its own?
No. Nothing is committed until you press Save and choose where it goes. Your AI saves only when you ask, and it can't save to the live branch of a site imported from GitHub.
Can I use Xodia without GitHub?
Yes. Projects started in Xodia keep their code in Xodia's own code storage, with the same drafts and restore points. You can move a project to a GitHub repository you own at any time.
Which hosts can Xodia show deploys from?
Vercel, Netlify and Cloudflare. Host connections show the live address, domains, deploy status and build logs, and come with Starter, Pro and Agency.
What happens to my site if I stop using Xodia?
Nothing. Your site is a normal project in your own repo, and your host keeps deploying it. There is nothing to export.
Who can publish in a team?
The workspace owner chooses: all members, admins and owners, or owners only. See security and roles.
