Edit the site your AI built

Many businesses have moved their websites off site builders and rebuilt them with AI. It works, until every new price, photo or opening time needs another prompt. Xodia opens that code from GitHub so you change it visually, keep it right on every screen, and ask your own AI only when you want to.

Free plan. 14-day Pro trial. No charge unless you choose a plan.

The Style panel: a pointer sets the heading's weight to 700 Bold, the heading on the canvas turns bold, the change shows as 1 unsaved and the class font-bold appears in the Code tab.

Where it gets stuck

A site made with AI shouldn't need AI for every change

What gets in the way once your site is code, and what Xodia does about each.

  • Every change is another prompt

A typo, a new photo, a price. In Xodia you click the text on the live page and type, and swap an image or a link in the panel.

    See the visual editor
  • Phones are easy to miss

A change that looks right on a laptop can break the layout on a phone. Xodia shows each page from Phone to Wide before anything goes live.

    See the breakpoints
  • Small asks, big edits

A prompt for one small change can touch more code than you meant. In Xodia you point at the element first, and every change waits for you to review it.

Bring your code

Import the site from GitHub, as it is

Xodia opens the repository your AI tool or developer delivered. Nothing to rebuild, nothing to convert.

  • Choose which repositories Xodia may open with the Xodia GitHub App
  • Xodia detects the framework, the styling and the package manager, and starts a live preview
  • Your repository gets no extra files: saves hold only the changes you made
  • Click to edit on Vite + React, React Router, Remix, Next.js, Astro, Gatsby and HTML sites on Vite. See every framework

Xodia's New project dialog asking how you want to start: Start fresh from a starter, or Import from GitHub to open a site you already have, with Import from GitHub outlined, and the optional Connect your AI line.

Change it yourself

Click, type and style the real code

The editor works on your site's own files, so what you change is the code your host deploys.

  • Double-click any text on the page and type over it
  • Replace images, links and button text in the panel
  • Change colors, sizes and spacing in the Style panel, which writes Tailwind classes or CSS in your site's own style
  • Every edit stays a draft until you save, and Undo is one click away

The Xodia editor with Edit on: a pointer clicks a bakery site's heading and double-clicks it, the formatting bar appears, new words replace the old ones in place and the change shows as 1 unsaved.

Every screen

Right on phones, tablets and desktops

See the page at six sizes from Phone to Wide, and style each size on its own when it needs it.

  • Switch the canvas between Phone, Tablet, Desktop and the sizes between, or set any width
  • A style can apply to every size, or from one size up
  • The Audits panel flags missing alt text, skipped headings and low contrast as you go

The Xodia canvas at the Phone breakpoint with Edit on: the Navigator lists the page's layers, the selected heading is outlined on the live preview of a bakery site, and the design panel shows its style.

Your AI, when you want it

Ask your AI for the bigger changes

Select a section, type what you want and send it to the AI you already use. It gets the exact element and Xodia's skills for your stack.

  • Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or any MCP app, on your own plan with that app
  • Or Xodia's helper, which runs Claude Code on your computer with your Anthropic API key
  • Its changes land in the same draft as yours, for you to review before you save
  • Nothing to connect for edits you make yourself. Connect your AI

The ask box under the canvas with the selected heading in it, a typed request, the request kinds with Design chosen, and Your AI as the one to send it to.

Still yours

Saved to your repo, deployed by your host

The site stays a normal project in your GitHub repository. Xodia never becomes the place it lives.

  • Every save is a commit, and a restore point you can go back to
  • Publish merges into your live branch, and your host deploys it as it does today
  • Stop using Xodia any time: the code and its history are in your repo

The Save changes dialog in Xodia: the message Make the hero heading bold, saved as one change to a new branch named preview.

Questions

Questions about AI-built sites

Our site was made with an AI tool. Will it open in Xodia?

If its code is in a GitHub repository, yes. On Vite + React, React Router, Remix, Next.js, Astro, Gatsby and HTML sites on Vite, styled with Tailwind or CSS, you can click to edit text, images, links and styles. Other frameworks that run a dev server open with the live preview, the Code tab and your AI.

The code isn't on GitHub yet. What do we do?

Put it in a GitHub repository first: ask whoever built it, or use your AI tool's own way to push to GitHub. You can also open a folder on your computer with Xodia's command line tool. See Local and CLI.

Do I still need an AI subscription?

Not for the changes you make yourself. When you want help, use the AI app you already have on its own plan, or Xodia's helper with your Anthropic API key, which Anthropic bills by use.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You click, type and pick styles in panels, and Xodia writes the code. Every change waits as a draft until you save it, and you can restore any earlier version.

Will our hosting change?

No. Your host keeps building from your repository. Publishing in Xodia merges into the branch it deploys. See Git and publishing.
