Bring your Lovable or Bolt site, edit it without credits

Lovable and Bolt build a site fast, but on credit-based tools small changes still cost credits. Import the GitHub repo into Xodia, edit it visually at every breakpoint with no AI credits, keep your own AI for bigger changes, and publish to your own Vercel, Netlify or Cloudflare.

Free plan. No card needed.

The Style panel: a pointer sets the heading's weight to 700 Bold, the heading on the canvas turns bold, the top bar shows Saving and the class font-bold appears in the Code tab.

Why bring it over

Same code, without paying for every fix

Your site is already React, Vite and Tailwind in a GitHub repo. Xodia opens that repo and lets you change it by hand.

  • Small changes, no credits

On credit-based tools, a new heading or a tighter gap still costs credits. In Xodia every click, word and style writes the code directly, with no AI in between.

    See the visual editor
  • Every breakpoint, on its own

Switch the canvas from Phone to Wide and style each size where it needs it. Each change writes Tailwind classes, so what you see is what your host builds.

    See the breakpoints
  • Your repo stays yours

Xodia opens the repo Lovable or Bolt syncs to. It adds no Xodia package or config file, and each push holds only the lines you changed.

    See Git and publishing

Step 1: Import

Connect GitHub and import the repo

Install the Xodia GitHub App on the repo your site syncs to, then choose it under Import from GitHub. Xodia checks the repo before it creates anything, then starts a live preview in your browser.

  • It reads package.json, vite.config and the lockfile, and names the file and line of anything it can't run
  • Lovable's lovable-tagger plugin is skipped, and the @/ path alias keeps working
  • If the repo uses Bun, pnpm or Yarn, Xodia offers to switch it to npm, once
  • On Free, a site can have up to 4 static pages (collection pages don't count), and a bigger one is refused at import with its page count. Follow the step-by-step guide

The New project dialog on Import from GitHub: the GitHub account and search, then the repositories the GitHub App may open, each with Import, one already imported with Open.

Step 2: Edit

Edit visually, at every breakpoint

Pick an element and change its text, layout, type, colours and spacing in the Style panel, from Phone to Wide. Each change writes Tailwind classes into your files, with no AI and no credits.

  • Six sizes from Phone to Wide, with styles that apply from one size up
  • Double-click any text on the page and type over it
  • Add Xodia CMS collections for content that repeats: Free includes 2 collections and 100 items a site. See Xodia CMS
  • Keep your own AI for bigger changes: Claude, Cursor or any MCP app, on every plan, Free included. Connect your AI

The Xodia canvas at the Phone breakpoint with Edit on: the Navigator lists the page's layers, the selected heading is outlined on the live preview of a bakery site, and the design panel shows its style.

Step 3: Publish

Go live on Xodia or your own host

Go live puts the site on Xodia hosting in one click, with your own domain on a paid plan. Or keep your Vercel, Netlify or Cloudflare account, which builds it from your repo with the site's own Vite build.

  • Push to GitHub on every plan, Free included, and let your host deploy each push
  • On Starter, Pro and Agency, connect the host in Xodia to see each deploy and its build log
  • Point your domain at Xodia or your host when you're ready. See Git and publishing

Settings, Publishing: the live site on Vercel with its address, and a failed build on the branch spring-hours with its error and Fix with your agent.

Before you import

What works, and what doesn't yet

Xodia runs your site in the browser, so it supports a set stack. Check yours first: a repo outside it is refused before anything is created, with the reason.

  • Works today

    • Vite and React sites styled with Tailwind 4, the stack Lovable and Bolt build
    • Plain CSS and CSS Modules too
    • Lovable's setup: lovable-tagger is skipped, and the @/ alias for src works as it does now
    • Bun, pnpm and Yarn projects, after you agree to switch them to npm
    • Supabase and other services your pages call: that code stays as it is and keeps running
  • Not yet

    • Tailwind 3: many Lovable and Bolt projects, older ones especially, still use it. Upgrade to Tailwind 4 first
    • Next.js, Astro, Remix, Expo and other frameworks
    • Monorepos, and sites in a subfolder of their repo: Xodia imports one site at the root
    • Backend changes: Xodia edits the front end, and Supabase tables, sign-in and edge functions stay in Supabase

Every stack and what you can edit in it: Frameworks. Sites built with AI tools in general: Sites built with AI.

Questions

Questions about Lovable and Bolt sites

Does Xodia change my code style?

No. Xodia edits the files that are there: a style change rewrites the Tailwind classes on that element, and a text edit changes that text. It adds no Xodia package or config file, and each push holds only the lines you changed.

Can I keep using Lovable or Bolt alongside Xodia?

Yes. They work on the same GitHub repo. Work on a branch in Xodia and open a pull request, so your edits sit cleanly beside what the other tool pushes. Commits pushed from outside Xodia show up in site activity. See GitHub.

My site uses Supabase. Does that still work?

Yes. The code that calls Supabase stays as it is, and your tables, sign-in settings and edge functions stay in Supabase. Xodia edits the front end. If the site reads VITE_ values, add them in Project settings, Environment: visitors can read those, so use public keys only.

My project uses Tailwind 3. What do I do?

Upgrade it to Tailwind 4 first, then import it again. Xodia supports Tailwind 4 only for now, and refuses a Tailwind 3 repo at import, naming the file that shows it and how to upgrade. See Upgrade a Tailwind 3 site to Tailwind 4.

Can I try it free?

Yes, with no card. On Free you get 2 projects with up to 4 static pages each (collection pages don't count), Xodia CMS with 2 collections and 100 items a site, your own AI and Push to GitHub for your host to deploy. Starter, $9 a month, has no page limit. Compare every plan.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You click, type and pick styles in panels, and Xodia writes the code. Every change is saved as you make it, nothing goes live until you publish, and you can restore any earlier version.
