A visual CMS that edits content where it already lives

Xodia's Content tab edits your site's content in place: Markdown, MDX and YAML files in your repo, Astro content collections and Sanity documents. It reads each collection's schema and builds a form for it, so writers change text, images and references without opening code. Content editing comes with Starter, Pro and Agency.

Content in your repo

Markdown and collections as forms

Xodia finds your Astro content collections and the Markdown folders in content or src/content, and lists each entry with whether it is live, changed or a draft.

  • One file per entry (Markdown, MDX, Markdoc or YAML), or a JSON list of entries
  • Forms from the schema: text, dates, choices, lists, images from Assets and references to other entries
  • The body in Markdown with a formatting bar and a preview; frontmatter keeps its comments and order
  • Changes show in Save and go live when you publish, like every other edit

Sanity

Sanity documents, drafts to live

  • Publish, Unpublish and Discard changes for each document
  • Portable Text and images shown in the form, changed in Sanity Studio or by your AI
  • The Sanity media library in the Assets panel, served from Sanity's image CDN

Questions

CMS questions

Do I need a separate CMS to use the Content tab?

No. If your content is in Markdown, MDX, YAML or JSON files, or in Astro content collections, the Content tab edits those files in your repo. Sanity is the headless CMS it edits directly.

Where do my content changes go?

Changes to files join your draft and are saved as a commit with the rest of your edits. Changes to Sanity documents are saved to Sanity as drafts until you publish them.

Can clients edit content without breaking the site?

Yes. They work in forms built from your schema, not in the code, and every change waits for a save. Save to a branch first if you want to review it.

Which plan includes content editing?

Starter, Pro and Agency. On Free you can read entries in the Content tab. Compare plans.
