Your GitHub repo, edited visually
Connect GitHub and import the repo your site lives in. You edit it on a live preview, and every save is a commit on a branch, so your team reviews visual edits like any other change, and your site never leaves your repo.
Free plan. 14-day Pro trial. No charge unless you choose a plan.

What you can do
Commits, branches and pull requests
Xodia works on your repo the way a developer does, through the branch you choose.
- Import any repo the Xodia GitHub App may open, and keep it in sync
- Save edits as a commit to this branch, another one or a new one
- Open a pull request into your live branch, and merge it to publishStarter and up
- See GitHub checks and Actions next to your host's deploys, and send a failed one to your AI
- Saving straight to the live branch of an imported repo is protected
The branch menu in Xodia on the branch spring-hours: the branches on GitHub with main as the live site, then New branch, Open pull request into main, Merge into main (make live) and Delete branch.
How to connect
Connect it, then import
Xodia connects through its own GitHub App, so you choose exactly which repositories it can open.
- In Xodia, open Connections and press Connect GitHub.
- Install the Xodia GitHub App on your account or organization, for all repositories or only the ones you pick.
- Press New project, choose Import from GitHub and import the site's repository.
- Xodia installs your packages in a private preview and opens the editor.
The New project dialog: the agent step done, then Import from GitHub with the repositories the GitHub App may open, each with Import, beside Start from a template.

Limits
Good to know
- An imported repo counts as a project on your plan
- Xodia sees only the repositories you grant the app; grant more on GitHub at any time
- The preview gets a short-lived token for one repository; the app's key stays on Xodia's server
- Your host keeps building from GitHub; Xodia doesn't deploy
Questions
GitHub questions
Do I have to use GitHub?
No. You can start from a Xodia template that keeps its code in Xodia's own storage, or open a folder on your computer with local folder mode.
Can Xodia push to my main branch?
Only when you publish. Saving straight to the live branch of an imported repo is protected, so edits go to a working branch first.
What does a save look like in git?
A normal commit with only the files you changed. Nothing Xodia needs for the editor is ever committed.
Can my teammates connect GitHub too?
Yes. Any member can connect a GitHub account to the workspace, and the repositories each account grants show when importing.
