Vercel Web Analytics, beside your pages

If your site is on Vercel, Insights reads its Web Analytics through your Vercel connection: visitors and pageviews, top pages, referrers, countries and devices, next to the pages you edit. Xodia only reads the numbers.

The Insights tab reading Vercel Web Analytics: visitors and pageviews with their change on the previous period, a chart of both by day, with Vercel picked among three connected sources.

What you can do

Your Vercel traffic, without another login

Insights keeps daily totals from the Vercel project that serves the site, so the tab opens fast and keeps your history.

  • Visitors and pageviews by day, from your production traffic
  • Top pages, referrers, countries and devices
  • No extra account to connect: it uses your Vercel host connection
  • If the tracking code is missing, one click asks your AI to add it

Insights' top lists for the bakery site: pages, referrers, countries and devices, each row over a bar as wide as its share of visitors.

How to connect

Turn it on in four steps

Insights lists the same steps in your project, with a link or a button for each.

  1. Connect Vercel on the Connections page, if you haven't. See Vercel.
  2. In Vercel, open your project, then Analytics, and enable Web Analytics.
  3. Add Vercel's Analytics component to the site, or let your AI add it with one click from Insights.
  4. Publish, open the site once, then pick the Vercel project in Insights. Data can take a few minutes.

Plans

Which plan you need

Insights comes with Starter, Pro and Agency: 1 analytics source per project on Starter; 3 sources with period comparisons on Pro and Agency.

  • Free

    Insights: not included

  • Starter

    Insights: 1 source, 30 days, top 5

  • Pro

Insights: all 3 sources, 90 days, top 25, compare periods

  • Agency

Insights: all 3 sources, 12 months, top 25, compare periods

Limits

Good to know

  • Vercel reports visitors and pageviews only, so there's no bounce rate or time on site for this source
  • Insights shows daily totals, not visitors live on the site right now
  • Needs a Vercel host connection, on Starter, Pro and Agency
  • Web Analytics has to be enabled on the Vercel project, and the site needs Vercel's tracking code

Questions

Vercel Web Analytics questions

Do I need a separate login?

No. Insights uses the Vercel connection on your Connections page, the same one that shows your deploys.

Why are there no numbers yet?

Vercel starts counting once Web Analytics is enabled and the published site has the tracking code. Visit the site, wait a few minutes and press Refresh in Insights.

Can I use other analytics too?

Yes. Insights also reads Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare Web Analytics. That's 1 analytics source per project on Starter; 3 sources with period comparisons on Pro and Agency.

Where do I see it?

In each project's Insights tab, from the rail. See Insights for the whole tab.
