Alt text
Alt text is a short written description of an image, set in its alt attribute, that screen readers read aloud and that shows when the image can't load.
How Xodia handles alt text: you write it in the Settings tab of any image, the Audits panel lists images on the page without it, and your AI writes it in your brand's voice when it builds pages.

What it is
Good alt text says what the image shows and why it is there, in a sentence or less. A purely decorative image gets an empty alt so screen readers skip it. Missing alt text is one of the most common accessibility problems on the web, and search engines read it too.
The right words depend on the page: the same photo might need different alt text on a menu and on an about page.
In Xodia
Select an image in Design and the Settings tab shows its Alt text field, with a note on what it's for. The Audits panel lists images without alt text on the page you have open, and can send the list to your AI.
Xodia's copywriting skill has your AI write alt text in your brand's voice when it builds pages.
