What you can do
Your schema, as a form
Each field in your Tina schema becomes the input that suits it, and dates keep the exact format they were written in.
- Collections in Markdown, MDX, JSON or YAML, with the title field you marked as each entry's name
- Strings, text areas, colors, options, numbers, booleans, dates and times, lists and objects
- Image fields with Upload into the media folder your config sets, or pick one already there
- References to other entries, saved as the file path Tina expects
- Collection templates, with the template each entry uses, and the body in Markdown with a formatting bar
- Your AI follows Xodia's git-based CMS skills for Tina. See Agent skills
A TinaCMS post open in the Content tab: title, date and time in UTC, a category select, the hero image with Upload and Choose from public/uploads, and tags, with Save.
How to set it up
Nothing to connect
Tina keeps its content in your repo, so Xodia reads it from there. No token, no account.
- Import your site from GitHub, or open its folder on your computer.
- Xodia finds tina/config and reads it as text. Your config code never runs.
- Open the Content tab, pick a collection and edit an entry.
- Save: the change becomes a commit on your branch and goes live when you publish.
Settings, General: Xodia detected a Next.js site with Tailwind 4, pnpm and Vercel, with its content in TinaCMS.

Limits
Good to know
- The preview runs your framework's dev server without tinacms dev, so Tina's local content API isn't running there
- Rich text outside Markdown and MDX collections opens as JSON data
- Tina's own editor stays as it is; Xodia edits the files it writes
Questions
TinaCMS questions
Do I need to change my Tina config?
No. Xodia reads the schema you have, its collections, paths, formats, fields and media folder, and writes entries the way Tina does.
Does this need Tina Cloud?
No. Xodia edits the content files in your repo. If your site uses Tina Cloud, it keeps working as it does today.
Where do uploaded images go?
Into the media folder from your config, with a short unique ending on the file name so nothing is overwritten. Images and documents up to 5 MB.
Can I edit the pages too?
Yes. On Next.js, Astro and the other click to edit frameworks you can change the page itself on the canvas, and the content in the Content tab.
