A Markdown twin is a plain Markdown version of a web page served alongside the HTML, so AI agents and tools can read the page's content without its layout and scripts.

## What it is

AI coding agents and crawlers read text more reliably than rendered HTML. A site can serve the same page as Markdown at a parallel address, such as /page.md, or answer with Markdown when a client asks for it with an Accept: text/markdown header.

The HTML page links its twin with rel="alternate", and the twin points back to the HTML as canonical, so search engines don't treat it as duplicate content. A good twin keeps the page's headings, lists and links, and leaves out menus, banners and decorative pictures.

## In Xodia

Xodia's agent readiness skill tells your AI how to offer Markdown versions of your pages and to keep them in step when content changes.

Every page of xodia.ai has a Markdown twin, built from the page at build time and linked from its head and from llms.txt.
